Face book plots secret chat for messenger:
Face book seemingly has been working on mobile
pay and secret chat attributes for its Messenger app, according to the report which
was published recently by the Information, based on hints found in removed software code on Messenger for I Phone. Commands implanted in the software hint at secret conversations
that it is similar to what can be found in a Whats App, the voice and the messaging
service owned by Face book, according to the report.
Other references which is reportedly found in the code including
commands to pay in person and pay in Messenger when picking up any item.
According to Charles King, principal accountant at Pund-IT, "Since
Face book has long said it would continue to develop and to support its own
message app which makes the sense that it would adopt specific Whats App features
into its solutions of own."
Mobile Piggyback:
The mobile pay feature is an acceptable
as well, King told Tech News World. However, it remains unclear whether Face book
would actually compete with the Android Pay and the Apple Pay directly, or if
it would piggyback on one of the those services which would require a far lower
beginning investment and less risk than starting its own service, and remove the
complications of arranging partnerships with banks and financial services
according to King saying. Face book does not plan to get into the payments of business
directly, but would consider the partnering with other companies, CEO Mark
Zuckerberg indicated.
On
payments, the basic strategy that we have is, to make especially in a product
like the Messenger which was the business interaction may be a bit more
proceedings, to take all the opposition out of making the proceedings that we
need according to king's saying and so we don't view ourselves as a payments
business. It is not the type of company that we are and we will partner with
everyone those who does payments, according to Zuckerberg's saying.
The
other possible addition to Messenger includes shopping and delivery features,
and the ability to adjust the calendars so users can update to do lists, share
articles and update their status.
Digital Assist: The reputed features have the probability to turn the Messenger into a virtual digital assistant, according to Susan Schreiner, an investigator at C4 Trends.
Probably, it could learn our likes and dislikes, make the suggestions
about the articles to read or e-books to purchase, according to her saying to
Tech News World. The Messenger apps already enable you to send the money to
friends, so the next logical step would be using the app for in store
purchases. The Face book would have to overcome a couple of complication,
according to saying of Paul Teich, principal investigator at Tirias
Research. If the company really wants to
turn the secret chat property into a confidential experience like Whats Apps',
it'll have to be aggressive to give up certain information, according to Teich
saying.
He said that the secret chat would probably keep no record at all
of messages sent. It means Meta data too. Otherwise, throwing away the message
pays load, but keeping the data such as time and length of the messages,
senders and receivers.
